LINCOLN RECEPTION: Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. “Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War” opening reception. The reception will feature Dr. Vernon Burton, the author of “The Age of Lincoln,” who will give a talk on Lincoln’s presidency and the constitution. Light refreshments. PLUTOPALOOZA: Tuesday, 5 p.m. The new horizons spacecraft will be the closest it has ever been to Pluto, resulting in the first-ever detailed images of the planet. In honor of this major milestone, the State Museum will host a celebration featuring a live webcast from NASA, a solar system show focusing on Pluto, night observing in the Boeing Observatory and free giveaways.
