What’s a parent to do?

With temperatures expected to hover right around 100 degrees Wednesday, letting kids play outside for a long time is not an option. And there are only so many times you can take your kids to a water-themed park before their fingers and toes start to web.

All the more reason to check out the lineup of programs at the public libraries in Richland and Lexington counties, targeted to kids of all ages.

Here, a sampling of events on tap Wednesday at library branches in both counties.
