The new foods at the 2015 SC State Fair are...

So, what will you be eating at the S.C. State Fair this year?

In addition to the usual favorites – Elephant Ears, Fiske fries, corn dogs and the like – there are two new foods to try, according to fair officials:

Southern Belle Burger (Carousel Foods): A burger with bacon, pimento cheese salad, and fried green tomato. Find it by the food tent under the SkyGlider.

Bacon Cinnamon Roll (Grandma Brown’s Cinnamon Rolls): Your favorite cinnamon role paired with some salty bacon.

Back this year is the fair’s lunch promotion.

Enter the fair from noon-2 p.m. weekdays with a $5 cash deposit. Exit the fair gate before 2 p.m. to exchange the token for your $5 deposit.
