New dessert coming to 2015 SC State Fair

There’s another new food item coming to the S.C. State Fair – this one, a dessert.

The Sriracha Fire and Ice Kreme has soft serve vanilla ice cream with Sriracha sauce and corn chip crunch. It’s topped off with whipped cream.

The Fire and Ice Kreme joins two other new foods at this year’s fair, which runs Oct. 14-25.

The Southern Belle Burger is a burger with bacon, pimento cheese salad, and fried green tomato.

And the Bacon Cinnamon Roll is just what the name says – your favorite cinnamon roll paired with salty bacon.

Back this year is the fair’s lunch promotion.

Enter the fair from noon-2 p.m. weekdays with a $5 cash deposit. Exit the fair gate before 2 p.m. to exchange the token for your $5 deposit.
