Holiday events, admission specials – and Snowville – set at EdVenture Children’s Museum
Admission discounts, holiday happenings and a winter wonderland are part of programming on tap this fall and winter at EdVenture Children’s Museum.
Here, a sampling, from EdVenture:
Pizza, Any Way You Slice It –The new pizza-tacular exhibit running through Nov. 1 teaches the basics of math by encouraging playful, open-ended exploration based on one of America's favorite foods! This exhibit takes a familiar family experience – having pizza for dinner – and turns it into a sophisticated learning environment! Little EdVenturers can make pizza, deliver pizza and pretend to eat pizza as they learn through counting, sorting, measuring, gathering, matching, patterning, sequencing, role-playing and sharing.
Snowville- EdVenture Children’s Museum invites you to come explore this winter wonderland from Nov. 21-Jan 11. Snowville is a winter playscape where every day is a snow day! Children can climb Mount EdVerest, explore an ice cave, and even tube down Sled Hill, a 25 ft. long slippery slope sure to give thrills to all. Along the way, children will learn about the science behind the snow.
