Bluegrass, Bidding & BBQ Thursday at Robert Mills House
Here’s your chance to drive a brand new Jaguar for an entire weekend.
All you have to do is have the winning bid during The Palladium Society’s Bluegrass, Bidding & BBQ silent auction.
The fundraising event is set for 7-10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22 at Robert Mills House.
This annual fundraiser for Historic Columbia will feature music from The Mustache Brothers, barbecue from Yellow Dog BBQ and an open bar featuring a signature cocktail. Tickets – $20 for Palladium Society members, $30 for Historic Columbia members and $35 for the general public – are available in advance at www.historiccolumbia.org/bbq and include food and drinks. All tickets are $40 per person at the door.
But back to that Jag …
Jaguar Land Rover Columbia, a presenting sponsor of the evening, will supply the highest bidder with a brand new F-Type convertible for the weekend.
Too flashy? How about a custom-made dress from LaRoque, or a tour-and-tasting with Kevin Varner of Hunter-Gatherer at the brewery’s soon-to-be-opened location at Owens Field?
Or bid on multiple destination packages from sites throughout the Southeast.
Or, for the music lover, a VIP Black Pass from Music Farm allows VIP access to every Music Farm event next year.
There’s something for just about everyone at the silent auction, so loosen those purse strings for a good cause.

Help for flood victims
The Palladium Society also will be collecting donations during this event for the Central Carolina Community Foundation to distribute to victims of the recent flooding.
