Richland Library branch hosting adult coloring session

So far this year, seven out of the top 20 best-selling books on Amazon.com are adult coloring books, and a local library is tapping into that trend.

Richland Library Eastover, 608 Main St., Eastover, is hosting a Coloring Cafe from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The purpose of the adult coloring session is to relieve stress and allow adults to engage their creative sides.

The event is free and open to anyone, and those interested do not need to register.

“All they have to do is show up,” said Emily Stoll, Richland Library media relations specialist.

The library will provide all of the materials for the event, including a variety of intricately designed adult coloring sheets. Light refreshments also will be provided during Wednesday’s session.
