New date set for Janet Jackson’s Columbia concert

Pop icon Janet Jackson’s Columbia concert is rescheduled for Aug. 12.

Jackson rescheduled the dates on her “Unbreakable World Tour,” because of surgery for an undisclosed issue.

The August concert, set for 8 p.m., will be the singer’s first time appearing at Colonial Life Arena.

Ticket prices are $29 to $125.

Those who purchased tickets for the original March 6 date will be able to use them at the Aug. 12 show. Customers who purchased tickets for the original date but want to get a refund can do so; see www.coloniallifearena.com for details.

Jackson is a six-time Grammy-award winner and recent BET Awards’ Ultimate Icon honoree. Her Columbia concert is one stop in a 74-city international tour.
