“Deadpool” (R): Ryan Reynolds stars as the murderous anti-hero in a rare foray into R-rated territory by Marvel Comics characters.
“Zoolander 2” (PG-13): Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson reprise their roles as the male supermodels, now relegated to the old-news bin 10 years after the events of the first film.
“How to Be Single” (R): Dakota Johnson, Rebel Wilson, Leslie Mann and Jake Lacy are among the New York City lonelyhearts who have grown tired of one-night stands and want to find a significant other.

The Southern Guitar Festival is holding its annual gala, which includes dinner, a silent auction and Latino-American, classical and jazz music. Special guests include Marina Alexandra (guitar), Ayala Asherov (piano/voice),Chris Teves (guitar), Teri Forscher-Milter(flute) and others. Tickets are $49 for dinner and the concert; a cash bar also will be offered. GREAT BACKYARD BIRD COUNT: 8:30 a.m.-noon Saturday at Congaree National Park. This free program is aimed at engaging visitors in observing and identifying winter birds at the park. Visitors can learn with advanced birders as “citizen scientists” by helping to systematically count different kinds birds on park trails. The program is part of the larger 17th annual Great Backyard Bird Count (http://gbbc.birdcount.org) to identify and count all types of birds nationwide from Feb. 12-15. Open to visitors ages 5 and up; children under 14 should be accompanied by an adult. Advance registration requested by calling (803) 776-4396, ext. 0, or stop by the park’s visitor’s center.
