Music in the Midlands: Art Bar Agora, Andy Mineo, Listen Inc.
Art Bar Agora
A celebration of fresh artists and musicians awaits at the Art Bar Agora. (The word “agora” is Greek for “gathering place.”) Now in its ninth year, the event at Art Bar includes over 20 artists and craftsmen with mediums from screen-printing to leather working to beard salve making. Music will be provided by ET Anderson’s VelvETA Underground & Nico, Elim Bolt, Secret Guest, Lull, Hectorina, Faline and Cloud Witch. Food will be Art Bar’s very own Korean fusion cuisine. They’ll be serving kimchi burgers and hot dogs, Korean wings and japchae, a Korean dish made from sweet potato noodles.
5 p.m.-2 a.m. Saturday, April 9 at Art Bar, 1211 Park St. Access to outdoor vendors is free; inside entertainment is $7. artbarsc.com/art-bar-agora-is-here
