Food Network’s Alton Brown brings ‘Eat Your Science’ to Columbia
Author, television personality and evil genius Alton Brown will be on stage at Koger Center at 7:30 p.m. Friday with his “Eat Your Science” tour. Tickets are still available.
Known for “Good Eats” and “Cutthroat Kitchen” and as the host of “Iron Chef America” on Food Network, Brown likes to partake of local dining establishments when on the road. You can tell Alton where he should go to eat in Columbia by using the hashtag #ABRoadEatsColumbia when commenting on Facebook (www.Facebook.com/altonbrown) or Twitter (@altonbrown).
In his words, “keep it local and simple … nothing fancy.”
In addition to the tour, Brown is busy taping new episodes of “Cutthroat Kitchen,” preparing for the release of his new cookbook, “Alton Brown: Every Day Cook,” coming out in October, and working on a new internet-based show along the lines of the original “Good Eats.”
