Folk singer-songwriter Brett Dennen brings his intimate, sweet tunes and acoustic guitar-playing to Music Farm this week. The California native’s songs, like “Ain’t No Reason,” “Wild Child” and “Desert Sunrise,” are mostly easy grooves, and his voice has been called a “cross between Tracy Chapman and Neil Young.”

His sixth album, “Por Favor,” comes out Friday, May 20.

Dillon Hodges, aka firekid, will open with a bluegrass/country set.
