“THE MOVING WALL:” 1-4:30 p.m. Monday at Harriet Barber House, Lower Richland. Mark Memorial Day with a visit to The Moving Wall memorial, a traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. 16TH ANNUAL PINEY GROVE CEMETERY MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE: 10 a.m. Monday at Piney Grove Cemetery. A group of African-American veterans host the service and will place wreaths on graves at the cemetery. Free. 433 Piney Woods Road, Harbison area.
PALMETTO CONCERT BAND: 4 p.m. Monday at Koger Center for the Arts. Enjoy a concert from the Palmetto Concert Band, made up of professional and semiprofessional musicians from South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia, including a large number of University of South Carolina School of Music alumni.
