To do Tuesday: Drink craft beer. Watch baseball.

Head to Spirit Communications Park Tuesday for a night of beer and baseball.

Before the Columbia Fireflies take the field against the Rome Braves, there will be a pre-game sampling of six different beers from Palmetto Brewing Company.

Participants can taste test the Huger Street IPA, Island Whit, Espresso Porter, Hi-Red Draft, Lowcountry Pilsner and Amber & Pale Ale. A ticket includes hot dog and hamburger catering through the seventh inning and a game ticket on the Broad Balcony.

Tickets are $40 per person or $31 to upgrade regular game tickets. The tasting begins at 6 p.m. and the game starts at 7:05 p.m.

And if you can’t make it this time, the next beer tasting is scheduled for July 13.
