Publico Kitchen and Tap is going to the dogs. Sort of. Business is booming for the 7-month-old restaurant specializing in Mexican fusion cuisine.
And now, dog lovers – and especially their dogs – are in for a treat. The Five Points eatery is offering a “VIP” – “very important puppy” – menu that’s comprised of two meal options in three different sizes: small, medium and large (based on your dog’s size and, very well, its appetite).
The “tempting turkey” is ground turkey with sweet potato, bok choy, red peppers and strawberries. The “seafood casserole” is shrimp and mahi mahi, sweet potatoes, carrots, red peppers, apples and spinach. Meal prices range between $1.50-$4.50 with a portion of the proceeds going to SQ Rescue, Inc., a rescue and adoption shelter for animals. That’s one of the best reasons to go and let your dog dig in.
