Sign-ups for fall adult sports leagues underway
Commit to some after-work play time by signing up for an adult sports league this fall. There are several leagues in Richland and Lexington counties offering coed softball, kickball, flag football and soccer, as well as leagues for just men and just women.
City of Columbia Parks & Recreation
Co-ed adult softball: 5:30-9:30 p.m. Sundays at Earlewood Park. Season begins Aug. 14.
Co-ed adult kickball: 6:30-9:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at Earlewood Park. Season begins Aug. 15.
Men’s adult softball: 6:30-9:30 p.m. Tuesdays at T.S. Martin Park. Season begins Aug. 16.
Registration ends Friday. Open to ages 18 and up. $300 per team. www.ColumbiaSC.net
Richland County Recreation Commission
Co-ed adult softball: 7:15-10:15 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at Kelly Mill Sports Complex. Season begins Sept. 5. And Sept. 7, respectively.
Men’s softball: 7:15-10:15 p.m. at Kelly Mill Sports Complex. Season begins Sept. 6. $300 per team.
Co-ed adult kickball: Days and times TBA at Caughman Road Park. Season begins Sept. 12. $150 per team.
Women’s kickball: Games between 3-7 p.m. at North Spring Park. Season begins Aug. 28. $150 per team, $35 individual.
Men’s flag football: 6-9 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays at Garners Ferry Sports Complex. Season begins Sept. 6. $325 per team, $40 individual.
Men’s basketball: 6-9 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays at Bluff Road Gym. Season begins Sept. 6. $250 per team.

NorthWest Family YMCA
Adult Flag Football: Tuesday evenings at the Northwest Y. Season starts Aug. 9.
Ages 20 and older. $35 for members, $50 for non-members. Online registration ends Aug. 7. In-house registration ends Aug. 9. www.columbiaymca.org
Lexington County Recreation
Adult kickball: 6:30 p.m. Thursdays at Pine Grove Sports Complex. Season begins in September. Registration ends Aug. 31. $150 per team.
Adult soccer: 2 p.m. Sundays at the West Columbia Soccer Complex. Season begins Nov. 6.
