The Southern Heat Music Festival will undoubtedly raise the temperature of Colonial Life Arena when a pack of famous rappers including T.I., Yo Gotti and Young Thug take the stage.

They will perform on Saturday, July 30 as part of the festival presented by HOT 103.9/93.9 FM.

Here’s a breakdown of the performing acts:

T.I.

Tip’s been on the scene since 1999. The headliner and Grammy winner is the man behind hits “Bring Em Out,” “Whatever You Like” and “Rubber Band Man.” Seven of his nine studio albums have reached the top five of the Billboard 200 chart.

If that weren’t enough, T.I. has an acting career in addition to recording music and producing. His most recent movie was “Ant Man” with Paul Rudd.

Yo Gotti

Another rapper from the ’90s, Yo Gotti has worked hard to earn his King of Memphis tag. The “Down in the DM” singer and Collective Music Group founder typically raps about thug life, sex, and the duality of success and struggle.

Young Thug

The Atlanta rapper is as prolific as his music is unintelligible. Thug has put out 76 solo tracks in the past two years, which have made him a millionaire. GQ described him as “music’s most colorful enigma,” a man who surrounds himself with guns and wears women’s UGGs. His hits include “Best Friend,” “Thief in the Night” and “Digits.”

Dreezy

Chicago artist Dreezy mixes rap and pop, with influences from the city’s drill movement. Her rendition of Nicki Minaj and Lil Herb’s “ChiRaq” catapulted her to national prominence in 2014. She just released her major-label debut, “No Hard Feelings.”

Bankroll Mafia

Hailed as Atlanta’s new rap supergroup, its members are T.I., Young Thug, PeeWee Roscoe, Shad Da God, MPA Duke and London Jae. The collective released a self-titled debut album in April. Tracks include guest artists Quavo, 21 Savage, and Lil Yachty, among others.

Baby E

Ethan Lowery, aka Baby E., is a young white kid with a breezy rap sound. He’s a recent Young Money signee. His recent track, “Finessin,” is getting a lot of mainstream attention.

Malachiae

Malachiae Warren, or Chiae as he’s also known, is a young R&B crooner. The 20-year-old is a rising star in the genre, as evidenced by his record deal with Motown Records.
