Pikachu at lunch? State House in Columbia becomes Pokemon GO-rich environment Friday afternoon

The State House Grounds in Columbia has become popular for Pokemon GO players. To make it even more enticing, the South Carolina Department of Agriculture will be dropping lures 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Friday, July 29, and representatives from Certified South Carolina will be handing out peaches and cold water to players.

This is part of a campaign for the Fresh on the Menu app that locates restaurants featuring South Carolina’s freshest foods. The mobile app lists dining establishments, featured chefs and even provides recipes for in-season products.
