Female talent is at the forefront of Ladypalooza, a musical event showcasing lady-led bands. Columbia’s own Glass Mansions, fronted by Jayna Doyle, will perform, along with sassy New York rock ’n’ roll band J and the 9s, Greensboro, North Carolina indie dance group The Machine Drive-By, and local songbird Katlyn Redfern.

T.C. Costello: After a stint in South Korea, Costello returns to South Carolina with a repertoire of multilingual, multi-instrumental folk punk. Expect the accordion, guitar and toy piano with lyrics in Yiddish, Korean, German and English. With Glass Lashes, a four-piece horror punk band from North Charleston.

Reggaetronic: The one-day floating music festival on Lake Murray returns for a fifth year. Ben Fagen & the Holy City Hooligans will headline with rock-reggae grooves. Sun Dried Vibes, Lefty at the Washout, the Dave Britt Band, Bois Obscur and GuyL also will perform. Proceeds benefit Special Olympics South Carolina.
