Spurrier Jr. sells home for less than purchase price

The son of former University of South Carolina football coach Steve Spurrier sold his home in the Elgin area recently for less what he purchased it for.

Stephen Spurrier Jr. and Melissa B Spurrier purchased the home at 129 Upland Trail Road was purchased in 2005 for $502,678, according to the deed.

The Spurriers reportedly sold the home to Justin and Rebecca Turner for $400,000, according to property records

The home is listed as having 4,208 square feet with five bedrooms and 3.4 bathrooms.

Earlier this year, Spurrier accepted a position on the University of Oklahoma football staff as a director of high school recruiting and an offensive specialist. Spurrier previously was USC’s wide receivers coach.
