Congratulations to Joshua Streetman, bartender at Motor Supply Co. Bistro in the Vista, for winning one of the runner-up spots in the national 2017 Tales of the Cocktail Official Cocktail Competition.

In a close competition, Streetman was one of seven who tied at only one point less than the winning entry.

In a post on Tales of the Cocktail website, Streetman says that “I enjoy the herbal quality of the Génépy (a traditional herbal liqueur or apertif popularized in the Alpine regions of Europe) in combination with the fresh ripe local strawberries. It is a reminder of drinking on a hot spring day in South Carolina.”
