Steak ‘n Shake opens in northeast Columbia

The wait is over!

Now you can enjoy the Original Steakburger, Prime Burgers, fries and classic milkshakes as Steak ‘n Shake has opened at Killian Road and I-77.

The restaurant chain, known for 100-percent beef burgers, fresh produce and handcrafted, to-order sandwiches, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner items (pancakes or cereal shakes, anyone?).

Although known for the burgers — the signature Steakburgers are a blend of brisket and chuck — the menu also includes all-beef franks, turkey and chicken sandwiches, soup and salads, chili and patty melts.

New items on the menu will include fall favorites milkshakes in Caramel Apple, Campfire S’mores and Pumpkin Spice flavors.

Andy Pye and Preston Moss, of CSRA Steakburger, own and operate Steak ‘n Shake’s newest location.

This is not the chain’s first foray into the Columbia market. Steak ‘n Shake opened for a short time a few years ago in the Harbison area, near Columbiana Centre.
