Earthquake felt Saturday morning in the Midlands
A small earthquake was recorded Saturday morning near Winnsboro, SC, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The 2.4 magnitude quake was recorded around 6:15 a.m. Saturday near Winnsboro Mills, USGS reported.
It was the second earthquake in South Carolina in just over a week.
On Thanksgiving night, a 2.4 magnitude quake was recorded near Pageland, a town near the North Carolina-South Carolina border east of Lancaster.
