Lexington County coroner recovers body of man who went missing on SC’s Lake Murray

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office said Saturday the body of a man who went missing on Lake Murray in October has been found.

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher confirmed the body of 36-year-old David Neil Grantham, who went by Neil, was found Saturday, and no foul play was suspected.

The coroner’s office said Grantham went missing Oct. 26 on Lake Murray.

Last month, law enforcement said they were told Grantham left his home overnight and got on his boat at a Lake Murray marina off U.S. 378 about 3 a.m. His boat was found near Spence’s Point.
