22-year-old with medical conditions reported missing by Richland County deputies

A search is underway for a missing Midlands man with medical conditions.
Danarius Heyward was publicly reported missing by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department Tuesday. The 22-year-old has not been seen for days, the sheriff’s department said in a news release.
Heyward was last seen Saturday in the 400 block of McNulty Street in Blythewood, according to the release. His vehicle was later recovered on Old Oak Drive, the sheriff’s department said. That’s in Columbia, about 12 miles from where Heyward was last spotted.
There was no word if Heyward was alone when he was last seen. The sheriff’s department did not say if foul play was suspected in Heyward’s disappearance.
Heyward has medical conditions that require treatment, the sheriff’s department said. Further information on his condition, or if he is need of medication, was not available.
The sheriff’s department described Heyward as 5-foot-9, 175-pound man.
