South Carolina Highway Patrol is asking for help to identify a vehicle suspected to have struck and killed a man walking along a road on June 12 in Richland County.

Officials on Monday released a surveillance photo of the suspected vehicle from the hit and run.



The vehicle struck and killed 45-year-old Gabriel D. Taber on Two Notch Road near O’Neil Court at 12:55 a.m. June 12. This occurred in the Dentsville area, near Exit 74 on Interstate 20 and Columbia Place Mall, authorities say.

South Carolina Highway Patrol says it does not know the make or model of the vehicle.. The front or passenger side of the vehicle also may have damage, authorities have said.
