There’s a new spot for pizza, sandwiches and more on the shores of Lake Murray.
Buck’s Pizza, which has locations in a number of states, recently opened a new spot at 101 Sandalwood Road in Leesville. That’s near Prices Bridge Road, on the western side of Lake Murray, in Lexington County.
“It’s official,” Buck’s Pizza Lake Murray touted in a Monday Facebook post. “We are OPEN for business!”
There are Buck’s Pizza outposts along the East Coast, including North Carolina, New York, Georgia, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Texas, according to a store locator tool on the Buck’s website. There is one other Midlands Buck’s location, at 1856 S. Lake Drive in Lexington.
The menu at Buck’s Pizza at Lake Murray includes specialty and build-your-own pizza and stromboli, bread sticks, wings and boneless wings, chicken tenders, fresh baked sandwiches, appetizers such as fried cheese ravioli, and more.
Often referred to as the “jewel of South Carolina,” Lake Murray has continued to add new restaurants in the last couple years. For instance, Southshore Grill & Grocery, an eatery from the owners of Cafe Strudel, opened at 3106 US 378 in Leesville last summer. Na’Cho Margarita, a Mexican restaurant, opened at 745 Marina Way in Prosperity in August 2023, and regional Mexican chain San Jose opened a Lake Murray spot at 3340 US 378 in Leesville in December 2023.
