There’s a new spot for Mexican cuisine near the heart of Lexington.

Na’cho Margarita opened its doors July 22 at 712 W. Main St., as noted in social media posts from the business. As of Wednesday morning a large banner hanging on the front of the building noted the the restaurant was “now open.”

The new Mexican restaurant is located on the eastern end of the Town Square shopping strip, in a spot that formerly was occupied by RF’s Corner Grill, which closed in March after six years in business.

This marks the second Midlands location for Na’cho Margarita. The company also has a restaurant and bar on the shores of Lake Murray at 745 Marina Way in Prosperity. That lakeside eatery opened August 2023.

The menu at Na’cho Margarita features a host of Mexican favorites, including nachos, sizzling fajitas, flautas, quesadillas, chimichangas, burritos and more. There also is a steak menu, including the Steak Mexicano, which is ribeye steak cooked with bell peppers, onions and tomatoes, served with rice and beans. As you might expect at a spot called Na’cho Margarita, there also is menu dedicated to margaritas, with flavors including strawberry, mango, banana and peach.

The Town Square shopping center is anchored by a Food Lion supermarket. Other businesses in the plaza include Musician Supply, Terry’s Barber Shop, Black Tiger Tae Kwan Do, and a Wingstop chicken place, among others. Lexington County’s auxiliary administration building is across the street.

It’s a bustling area not far from downtown Lexington. About 40,000 cars per day travel down that stretch of W. Main Street, per state Department of Transportation stats.
