Search for a missing woman who was last seen near I-20 in Columbia

A search is underway for a missing woman in South Carolina.

Kendal Lee was publicly reported missing by the Columbia Police Department late Wednesday night. The 23-year-old has not been seen for days, according to police.

Police said that they learned that Lee was missing after being told by a person they called a “loved one” of hers.

Lee was last seen Tuesday in the 1200 block of Buckner Road, police said. That’s in Columbia, near Exit 70 on Interstate 20, which is the junction with U.S. 321/Fairfield Road.

There was no word if Lee was alone when she was last seen. Police did not say if foul play was suspected in Lee’s disappearance.

Police said that Lee was wearing a blue shirt with blue shorts and black shoes when she was last seen.

Anyone who has seen Lee, or has information about her, is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 888-CRIME-SC or submit an online tip.
