Search for missing South Carolina teenager who hasn’t been seen for days
A search is underway for a missing South Carolina teenager who hasn’t been seen for days.
Demarcus White was publicly reported missing by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday. The 14-year-old has not been seen by his family since Jan. 10, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
That’s when Demarcus’ parents last saw him at his Morris Way home, according to the release.
Demarcus was called a runaway by the sheriff’s office. There was no word if the Ragin Prep Christian Academy student was alone when he was last seen.
The sheriff’s office did not say if foul play was suspected in Demarcus’ ongoing disappearance.
Demarcus was described as a 5-foot-7, 150-pound boy with brown eyes and black hair, according to the sheriff’s office. Information about what clothes he was wearing when last seen was not available.
