Search ends for missing South Carolina man who hadn’t been seen for a week
UPDATE: David Jordan has been found, the Sumter County Sheriff’s office said Monday. There was no word about where and when Jordan was located, or his condition, after having last been seen on Feb. 18.

A search is underway for a missing South Carolina man.
David Jordan was publicly reported missing Tuesday by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The 60-year-old has not been seen in a week, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
Jordan had not reported to work for five days when his family learned of his disappearance, according to the release. He was last seen at his job on Feb. 18, the sheriff’s office said. Information about where Jordan works was not available.
There was no word if Jordan was alone when he was last seen. The sheriff’s office did not say if foul play was suspected in Jordan’s disappearance.
The sheriff’s office described Jordan as a 5-foot-11, 185-pound man with brown eyes and gray hair. A photo shared of Jordan shows his hair was close-cropped to his head.
Jordan was last seen wearing a black hoodie as well as khaki pants and carrying a camouflage backpack, according to the release.
Anyone who has seen Jordan, or has information about him, is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 803-436-2000, CrimeStoppers at 888-CRIME-SC or submit an online tip.
