A new spot for beer, cocktails, food and more has officially debuted in a growing district near downtown Columbia.

Three Notch’d Brewery & Craft Kitchen is now open at 945 Sabal St. in the BullStreet District, the company announced on social media Friday morning.

“COLA, the wait is over,” Three Notch’d said on Facebook. “After an amazing soft opening, we’re open all weekend and ready to see you! Cold beer, great food, and plenty of reasons to stop by.”

Three Notch’d is located in the space that formerly was home to Iron Hill Brewery, which closed in Sept. 2025 after its franchise shuttered. In December, Three Notch’d, a Virginia-based company, announced it would be opening a location in Columbia.

The drink menu at Three Notch’d includes a host of IPAs, sours, lagers and stouts on-tap, as well as cocktails, wines, ciders and more.

Meanwhile, an expansive food menu includes burgers, sandwiches, flatbreads, salads, chicken tenders, a New York strip steak, salmon, chicken wings, nachos, desserts and many other offerings.

Three Notch’d was founded in 2013 in Virginia and now has 8 locations across the Southeast.

The Columbia location of Three Notch’d is situated right at the front of the BullStreet District, with an outdoor patio that faces out to busy Bull Street. It’s just steps away from the Gather COLA food hall that opened late last year and the WestLawn office building, and not far from a Starbucks coffee shop. Segra Park baseball stadium is just a couple blocks away.
