A popular Lexington spot for cookies and more says it is moving in with a nearby ice cream shop.

Mingos Cookies & Bubble Tea, which has been located at 5580 Sunset Blvd., announced on social media and on signage on its front door that it is relocating inside Cola Cow Creamery at 603 Columbia Ave. in Lexington.

“This is the beginning of a very beautiful (and delicious) partnership,” Mingos Cookies said in a Facebook post. “You can now grab your favorite scratch-made cookies along with refreshing bubble teas at Cola Cow Creamery - Lexington! We will close the Lexington location (on May 26) and re-open on (May 27) at our new home, ready to serve you!”

Mingos Cookies said in its social media post that its Irmo location is not affected by the Lexington move, and will continue to operate as normal.

Mingos first opened its Lexington location on Sunset Boulevard in 2021. It is known for having a deep roster of cookies, including chocolate chip, red velvet cheesecake and many others. It also has an extensive menu of bubble teas and other beverages.

The move to collaborate with Cola Cow Creamery’s Columbia Avenue spot will be a short distance journey, about a mile.

Cola Cow, which also has a location near northeast Columbia, made headlines recently when it changed names. It formerly was called Holy Cow Creamery, but, after learning of another business that had a similar name, chose to switch its moniker to Cola Cow Creamery.
