Man accused of indecent exposure escapes custody, Richland County manhunt underway
A man accused of indecent exposure escaped from custody Thursday and the Richland County Sheriff’s Department is searching for him.
Around 6 p.m., Columbia’s Akintunde Warnock II escaped from custody at Palmetto Health Richland after complaining of chest pains, according to public information officer Lt. Curtis Wilson.
Deputies are actively searching for Warnock in the area of the hospital, Wilson said.
Warnock is wanted on two counts of indecent exposure, according to Wilson.
