Two people found dead in a home in the Irmo area of Richland County were killed in a murder-suicide, the coroner said Tuesday.

Richland County Coroner Gary Watts identified the decedents as 23-year-old Tiana Perry and 25-year-old Darius J-Von Williams, both of Clarion Road in Irmo.

Autopsies indicated that Perry died of shotgun wounds to the upper body and Williams died of a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head, Watts said.

The two were found dead in a home on the 200 block of Clarion Road on Monday night, the sheriff’s department has said. Maps show that the home is on a cul-de-sac ust off Broad River Road near Harbison State Forest.

A baby was inside the house when deputies went to the home to check on the couple, the sheriff’s department said. The baby was not harmed and is in the care of family.

Their relationship to each other and to the baby was not available.
