Cocaine, crack and guns seized in bust, landing man in jail, South Carolina sheriff says
A South Carolina man is in jail after drugs and guns were seized following a search Wednesday, according to the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office.
Frankie Boulware Jr. was arrested after cocaine and crack were found during the search, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. Illegally possessed firearms were also discovered, according to the release.
Boulware’s accused of distributing drugs from a Calhoun Street home in Winnsboro, the sheriff’s office said.
He was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine (second offense), possession with intent to distribute cocaine base (second offense), possession of a firearm by person convicted of certain crimes, weapons/unlawful for person convicted of first-degree domestic violence and prescription law violation, according to the release.
Information on Boulware’s bond was not available.
Boulware has run afoul of the law before. Fairfield County court records show he’s been charged with 36 crimes in multiple arrests over the past dozen years.
Three of those charges — a drug charge for crack distribution, in addition to racing on a public road and a contraband offense — were pending when Boulware was arrested Wednesday, according to court records. Boulware posted a combined $35,600 in bonds on those three separate charges in the past two years, court records show.
