‘Numerous public tips’ leads to undercover sting at SC business, cops say

Two women each were arrested on a sex crime charge following a monthslong investigation and a recent undercover sting at a South Carolina business, according to the Aiken Department of Public Safety.

On Monday, both Zhaoai Chen, 39, and Jinlan Sun, 39, were arrested and charged with prostitution, the department of public safety said in a news release.

The women work at Golden Fingers Massage Parlor, at 655 Silver Bluff Road in Aiken, according to the release.

An investigation into the massage parlor “began following numerous public tips alleging that the business was offering sexual services in exchange for payment,” the department of public safety said in the release.

An undercover operation at the business was conducted Monday, when the women were taken into custody and booked into the Aiken County Detention Center, according to the release.

Bond was set at $465 for each woman, jail records show. Both Chen and Sun posted bond Wednesday and are scheduled to return to court April 29, according to Aiken County judicial records.

Information about the massage parlor’s owner, and if they will face any criminal charges, was not available.

Police said they reported the massage parlor to the City of Aiken Business Licensing, advising them that the business has not been acting in accordance with the laws of South Carolina or the ordinances of the City of Aiken.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and Homeland Security Investigations assisted in the investigation.
