Two people stabbed and there’s a search for who attacked them, SC sheriff says
Two people were stabbed, and a search is underway for those who attacked them, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
At about 2 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded reports of an assault that just occurred in the 1700 block of Decker Boulevard, the sheriff’s department said in a news release. That’s in Columbia, near Exit 13 on I-77.
Deputies found two male victims who had been stabbed with a lethal cutting instrument, according to the sheriff’s department. Both were conscious and alert when they were taken by EMS to an area hospital, but further information on the victims’ conditions was not available.
No other injuries were reported.
The attacker, or attackers, were gone when deputies arrived. There was no word about how many people were involved or a motive for the assault.
No arrests have been reported, but the stabbing continues to be investigated by the sheriff’s department.
