Killing of Lugoff woman to be featured on TV show

The killing of Briana Rabon, an 18-year-old Lugoff woman, will be featured Sunday at 10 p.m. on Investigation Discovery’s “On the Case with Paula Zahn.”

The show will include interviews with Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews and Rabon’s mother, brother and a friend.

Stephen Ross Kelly of Elgin was sentenced to 50 years in prison in September after he pleaded guilty to murder and rape in the 2014 strangulation death of Rabon. Kelly also pleaded guilty to kidnapping and an unrelated charge of criminal domestic violence.
