Vegas strip club giving out 50,000 bottles of hand sanitizer amid coronavirus fears

A Las Vegas strip club is doing its part to help during the coronavirus outbreak by giving out free hand sanitizer.

Little Darlings announced it’s giving out 50,000 bottles for free during March, KSNV reported. Every guest will get a bottle while supplies last.

“[A]n opportunity to help with the Coronavirus scare is extremely important to us,” LeAnna DaPoint, one of the club’s managers, told the outlet. “Las Vegas is a tourist mecca, and we have to do everything possible to stay virus-free. It might seem silly, but we take the health of our guests very seriously. Being the most popular adult club in Las Vegas, we have to ensure the show will go on!”

DaPoint told KTNV that there will be stations with hand sanitizer at the entrance and behind the bar. Surfaces and stripper poles have also been cleaned, KTNV reported.

“Just extra hygiene, I shower more often and make sure I use hand sanitizer all the time,” Angel, an entertainer, told the outlet.

A strip club in Florida, Déjà Vu Showgirls Tampa, is also giving away 10,000 face masks to customers, the Tampa Bay TImes reported.

As of March 9, more than 113,000 people have been infected by coronavirus worldwide and nearly 4,000 people have died, according to Johns Hopkins University.
