A Michigan woman had to make sure her vision was OK after seeing that she won a huge lottery jackpot.

The 53-year-old Genesee County woman had been on “a lucky streak,” according to a Dec. 5 news release from the Michigan Lottery.

On Nov. 11, she bought a Jackpot Slots Fast Cash ticket.

“Jackpot Slots is my favorite Fast Cash game, and I play it regularly,” she told lottery officials. “I looked the ticket over right after I bought it and saw I’d won, but I had to scan it on the Lottery app to be sure I was seeing things right.”

The woman hit the jackpot for $1.54 million, the release said.

“I immediately called my husband to tell him the good news,” the woman said.

The win was “the icing on the cake” for the woman, who was already having good luck, officials said.

She said she’s going to buy a new car and invest with the prize.

Genesee County is about an 80-mile drive northwest of Detroit.
