U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-Seneca, has set his own records when it comes to campaign fundraising, raking in $3.9 million during the last three months of 2019.

Graham’s campaign also ended the quarter with $10.3 million cash on hand, the most for any South Carolina candidate at the state or federal level, the campaign said.

The $3.9 million is the largest amount raised by any candidate in South Carolina in a quarter, the campaign said. It breaks a record set by Graham in the third quarter of 2019.

“We are floored by the record-breaking support from our grassroots army,” said campaign manager Scott Farmer. “South Carolinians are incredibly grateful that Senator Graham is leading the fight to confirm a record number of conservative judges, to keep the U.S. economy booming, and to keep Americans safe by defeating our enemies abroad.”

Graham also was in the top three nationally for Republican Senate candidates during the fourth quarter of the year, the campaign said.

Graham’s likely Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison also has been bringing in large amounts of cash for the race which has garnered donations from around the country. Harrison brought in $3.5 million in the fourth quarter, and had $4.6 million cash on hand, entering 2020.
