Perry back in Palmetto State: Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry has returned to the Palmetto State eyeing a potential 2016 White House run and is courting key GOP constituencies while here. In Columbia this morning, Perry will speak at the evangelical Columbia International University’s chapel service. After a private lunch meeting at a local barbecue restaurant, Perry will speak to a business roundtable of the Electric Cooperatives of South Carolina. Perry spoke at the Citadel in Charleston Monday.
