Stephanie Houston died Saturday, West said in a news release. Following the wreck, the 51-year-old Chester County resident was taken to Prisma Health Richland hospital where she died, according to the release.

The vehicle continued off the road and into the woods where it hit several trees, West said.
The man driving the vehicle was not hurt, according to West.
No other injuries were reported.
Houston was wearing a seat belt, West said.
Information about why the vehicle veered off the road was not available, but the crash continues to be investigated by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
