One person killed and another injured in morning crash on I-95, SC cops say
One person was killed and another was injured Monday in a crash on Interstate 95, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The two-vehicle collision happened at about 7:10 a.m. on the southbound side of I-95 that runs through Clarendon County, said Master Trooper William Bennett.
Both a 2022 Ford pickup truck and a 2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycle were driving south on I-95, according to Bennett. At the 127 mile marker, the pickup collided with the motorcycle, Bennett said.

Bennett said there were three people in the pickup, and none of them were hurt. No other injuries were reported.
There was no word if the motorcycle riders were wearing helmets, or if any of the people in the pickup were wearing seat belts.
Information about what caused the vehicles to collide was not available, but the wreck continues to be investigated by the Highway Patrol.
