If a picture is worth a thousand words, then the large picture used with Brian Gallagher’s Feb. 27 column, “Skilled worker shortage threatens growth,” of workers at the V.C. Summer site is very misleading. A reader might conclude that the progress at the new nuclear site is threatened by a lack of skilled labor.

We do need to ensure a strong, trained workforce to keep South Carolina growing economically. But there is no shortage of skilled workers for the Summer project.
