USC & Clemson fans can agree on this

I am a Clemson fan in sympathy with Gamecock fan Charles Gatch when it comes to music at football games (“Can’t we get better music at USC football games?,” Sept. 22). It has gotten so bad that it has contributed to my decision to stop purchasing Clemson season football tickets after this year.

I understand the attraction to recruits, but they are not the ones paying the bills; they are the ones getting their bills paid. When they are 50 and paying the bills, then they can insist on playing all the loud garbage they want.

It is my experience that most all ages like beach music and oldies, so why make half or more of the stadium suffer through this loud noise?
