We’re being overrun by anti-Christian bias

Brenda J. Bell’s Nov. 26 letter, “Scoppe should stick to State House,” is proof positive that the battle raging for the souls of men and women, spoken of in the sixth chapter of the book of Ephesians, is real. Silencing Christians is the ultimate goal of certain groups of people.

Thankfully, people such as Fisher Ames, who helped author the First Amendment, had insight enough to keep this from happening. Fisher Ames had it right when he wrote: “(Why) should not the Bible regain the place it once held as a school book? Its morals are pure, its examples captivating and noble.”

We would all do well to heed the warning found in Psalm 9:17: “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.”
