Updated Reports: Former Muschamp staffer staying at Florida

Reports from multiple outlets had Florida director of player personnel Drew Hughes coming to join his old boss, Will Muschamp, at South Carolina.

But things apparently changed right as news broke.

FootballScoop.com and TheBigSpur amended their stories, saying a last-minute meeting with Florida head coach Jim McElwain convinced Hughes to stay in Gainesville.

TheBigSpur added Hughes had been expected to join the staff for the past few days.
