Will Muschamp reveals who won’t be available for Gamecocks’ spring game

South Carolina football coach Will Muschamp will lead his team onto the field at Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday for the team’s annual spring game.

On his call-in show Wednesday night, he ran down who the Gamecocks won’t have available for the scrimmage.

S Jonathan Gipson - Had a meniscus procedure to deal with a lingering issue from high school

WR OrTre Smith - Has not been cleared for contact all spring. Expected to be full-speed for summer

DB Jamyest Williams - Will participate in some way

LB Eldridge Thompson - Hasn’t had much contact all spring

Day-to-Day

Centers Hank Manos and Chandler Ferrell - Both dealing with ankles. Status up in the air.

Defensive end D.J. Wonnum - Muschamp said he was unsure how much the senior will do on Saturday.
